i thought i'd try this one!
so uh.. yeah here's my entry!

Name: Maximilien
Age: 11
Height: 4'6"
Weight: He's fairly light.
Breed: Mix species between a mute swan and a black swan.
Bio: Growing up in a generally poor family, his father is a small time cobbler while his mother stays home to take of their many fledglings. Maximilien, the youngest of 6, is the one who gets most of the hand-me-downs from his older brothers and one older sister. Unlike his siblings, he did inherit the rather odd gene that does indeed make him a mute. He learned sign language at a young age, and uses it to communicate along with a pad of paper and pencil he keeps with him. Unlike his siblings, who strive to try and aid their parents in making money, Maximilien or 'Max' as he prefers to be called, spends his free time dreaming of when he may be able to join the local dance school and take lessons. You see, Max aspires to be in a ballet. His parents don't know of this dream, and while they are low on money, encourage him to have his dreams. With the low income, it'd be nearly impossible to get him into classes, but they never have the heart to tell him. He spends his nights looking through old dance books his sister used to occupy her time with as a young girl. Seeing the poses, he tries to mimic them with as much grace as possible.
